RNC

Three thoughts on the Nuremburg Ra -- uh, the Republican National Convention:

1.) Anyone who tells you "things are simple" is trying to sell you something.

2.) When people start talking about good and evil, keep one hand on your wallet.

3.) Zell Miller is batshit insane.

That's all.

Listening to the Republican's scary babble makes me so uncomfortable I could hide under a pillow.. but what makes me *really* uncomfortable is: what if they win?!
pluff pluff ( the sound of me hiding myself under a matress for the next 4 years)

Damn STRAIGHT, Stover!

Watching the propagandist neo-Nazis makes my hair stand on end.

My mom grew up in a communist country and she turned to me and said, "I thought I risked everything to get away from this. I went in a circle." She escaped an oppressive father and poverty to come to America in the 60's.

It's funny, because if the The Emptyheaded Fuhrer steals another election, I'm moving out of the country.

I can't stand it anymore. I can't stand seeing Chimp's vapid, uncomprehending eyes, when he says things he doesn't understand that he's been taught to read o telepromters. It makes me sick that that nincompoop, who pats himself on the back for 9-11 for some reason, thinks that the 10 million people he sent to the poor house, and the highest rate of bankruptcy in history, as some sort of an accomplishment. Those racist haters have got to go.

You know Matt says that anyone who tells you things are simpe is lying...well I have my own little version to that and it goes something like this:

Anyone who tells you someone else is stupid is lying.

C'mon get serious. You can insult a man for his shortcomings via the actions he takes, but to say that he doesn't understand what he's saying is extremely stereotypical and quite the cop out for a much needed insult, and it makes me downright sick. Bush knows what he is doing and don't ever believe that he doesn't. Now whether him knowing what he's doing is either good or bad is left up to you to decide. But to act like he's a retard and all he's doing is just moaning out sylables that just randomly pop up on a screen makes me laugh at you and also makes me feel as though it is you who is the retard.

Get some motherfucking maturity.

Is there any good to pointing out the author of the comment that said those things, wasn't Stover?

I don't know if Bush really is brilliant and has just a really, really different worldview, or if he's as dumb as a bag of hammers. He certainly seems to convey, as the anon poster said, emptyheadedness, but this is obviously opinion and may only mean he doesn't communicate well. I've never talked with the man. I can't say one way or the other.

Anyway, I'm not so afraid he's dumb: I'm afraid he really thinks he's doing good for the world. And in that, he is saying things that are wrong, and he doesn't know how wrong they are. That doesn't make him stupid, but it does make him dangerous.

I think that ties in quite nicely to that Nietzsche quote Matt posted a twee while back.
