Warming Up

I am now officially In Training for the Great Friggin' Gonzo Revenge of the Sith Tour.

For the next few days I'll will be testing the muscles of my right hand in a wholly unfamiliar way . . . signing a THOUSAND FREAKIN' BOOKS.

The Special Edition, doncha know.

But it's a good way to get in shape.

Writer's cramp is a serious danger for typin' pussies like me, if I have to be signing three or four hundred books at a crack, maybe twice a day, five or six days a week . . .

Oh, my poor hand . . .

Your heart's just pumping pisswater for me, ain't it?

Can I just say that it's actually almost 7:00 PM and I just now managed to get the above the finally friggin' POST . . . ?

What the hell's going on with Blogger these days? Destroyed by its own success?

Etiquette? I guess I broke that pretty badly when I had Gene Wolfe sign six books and a pringles can.

Screw eitiquette, though. 'twas worth it.

If Matt comes anywhere near me, I'll bring along both Barra novels, HD, BoT, Shatterpoint, Traitor AND RotS to be signed. To hell with etiquette.

Thanks, Doc, but I've already been clued in on that; I just didn't know which interview it was (I've done a bunch, lately) and how much of the book they'd posted. It's already been handled.

I appreciate the offer, tho'.

For those of us who live way up North, is there any chance of being able to mail you some? Not RotS in particular, but I found a ton of BoT (Tpb) on sale for very cheap, and I was going to pick up some, give them to the library, my brother and friends, etc. (And one for me, obviously--I'll give away my old copy).

I won't worry about this now, with the tour and all those signings going on, but could I mail them to you in, say, 3 or 4 months with all the appropriate postage back? If so, do I go through Del Rey?
