Jeez, it's been so long Blogger forgot who I am . . .

In response to a couple requests for CAINE BLACK KNIFE updates . . .

I have been wandering in the wilderness of the dead zones.

This is also why I've left off the politcal bitching 'roung these parts -- too much of my brain consumed with trying to pierce the Veil of the Blind God, as it were.

But I seem to have found my way back into the light, and work proceeds apace.

There is asskicking in plenty. There is some (very little, actually) rumination on the nature of reality. There is, well . . .

The Adventure depicted in this recording has received a rating of

Dare I say:

"Woohoo!"

Torture? Sexual perversion? Something makes me see a flashback to the episode mentioned in HD about Berne's capture of Pallas Ril...

And ???

So what that means is that Julie will read it cover to cover ... a couple of times ... and then claim that it is just too brutal for her.

I'd buy that for a dollar. Hell, I'd buy it for five.

Excellent. Can't speak for very many people, but I know I've been waiting years already and would cheerfully wait many more -- I'd just prefer not to. :)

I'm a little late adding to this, but I'm still excited as hell! I can't wait for the next one!

The only reason I could see why Matt hasn't posted a new comment is because he is so engrossed in writing CBK. Either that or he has been kidnapped by space monkeys, and Gosh darn it! I hope it is not the space monkeys.

I was kidnapped by space monkeys once. They taunted me with spam burgers and pelted me with peanuts. Matt, if they offer you the "Simian Surprise," say no!

Greetings Exalted One,

I've been trying to write the small bio on the back of your upcoming 501st Honorary Member trading card: http://www.skaught.com/501st/proofs/proofs.html (Click on HM: Matthew Stover). My first try was critiqued to include the 501st in it and "To help avoid 'dating' the card, I would omit that part about three SW novels." So here is what I have:

"While on tour for the must read Episode III novelization, Matthew Stover had an armed escort at every stop- the 501st Legion! A fanboy himself, Stover saw A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back more than 20 times each in the theater. The New York Times bestselling author is also an expert in several martial arts."

I've spent the last week reading interviews online and your blog. Any advice would be helpful. It wasn't easy to write. I wanted to include titles of your other novels, but was limited on space. You're more than welcome to write it yourself, just keep it around the same length.

Happy Empire Day,
Jon "Blasty" Leopold
